just kidding. but its one of the most expensive and hard sports out there. this picture above is a quad because their rowing (sculling) with 2 oars. (if it was just one oar it would be a 4 boat). there are 8 boats, 4 boats, quads, doubles, and singles. the quads, doubles, and singles are the only boats that each person rows with 2 oars. the other boats are just with 1 oar. a single can cost anywhere from $15,000-20,000 for a decent boat. now how much does a basketball cost?(; but this sport requires you to run. i run 3-4 miles usually. maybe 6 this year /:
were the sport that wears the sexy spandex and we have blisters all over our hands. and we run up 3 flights of stairs for 25 minutes. and we have 5 am morning practices on school days.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING DOING ROWING IN YOU CITY/SCHOOL... DO IT. i absolutly love this sport. even though it sucks sometimes and you want to quit. JUST TRY IT. IT CHANGED MY LIFE. ive tried almost every sport (cheerleading,gymastics,soccer,basketball,softball,bowling,tennis,swimming,diving) (litterally).
just look it up if you dont know it, and do it or any other sport you want.
rowing is my life. i got up at 6 am on my summer break everyday for it
if thats not commitment, i dont know what is.
